Saul Williams


Saul Williams was in Paris for a series of three concerts during the "Jazz à la Villette" festival dedicated this year to “Black Rebels”. He came to meet us at the Point Ephémère on the banks of the canal Saint-Martin.

After he was revealed in 1998 by the film "Slam" (directed by Marc Levine and co-written by Williams), in which he held the main part, Saul Williams published four collections of poems and two ground-breaking hip-hop albums. He is America's youngest poet to have his writings studied in high schools and colleges across the United States (including Harvard).
